a shake of music
Since April 1998 I am hosting a radio program called “A Shake of Music”. A Shake Of Music is a program full of different, honest music made for Gouwestad Radio. Our radio station is located in Gouda in the Netherlands nearby Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht. The radio show consist a lot of different styles like pop, rhythm and blues, country-rock, symphonic rock, soul, gospel, Americana, singer-songwriter music, roots, Cajun and swamp. One of the great events are always the recording of live sessions, which we do for a maximum of 60 people audience. Kaz Lux (famous of the year sixties rock band The Brainbox), Eugene Ruffollo and JW Roy are some of the names who already recorded some great live-sessions for our program. On location we recorded Venice, Barrelhouse, Tom Principato, Rod Picott, B.J. Baartmans and Brian Webb, in different music clubs situated in the Netherlands. You can listen to A Shake of Music every Thursday night from 20.00 until 21.00 hour. And it is repeated every Friday morning and afternoon from 11:00 until 12:00 and from 15:00 until 16:00 hour, on 97.7 Mhz cable and 106.2 FM.
Sinds 1998 presenteer ik het radioprogramma A Shake Of Music. Het is een programma vol verschillende, eerlijke muziek, gemaakt voor Gouwestad Radio. Zoals de naam al doet vermoeden zend Gouwestad Radio uit vanuit Gouda en ligt midden in de cirkel Rotterdam, Den Haag en Utrecht. A Shake of Music besteedt aandacht aan verschillende stijlen binnen de muziek, zoals pop, rhythm & blues, countryrock, symfonische rock, soul, gospel, Americana, singer-songwritermuziek, roots, cajun en swamp. Altijd weer spannend zijn de live opnamen die we maken in onze TV studio met een live publiek van maximaal 60 personen. Artiesten als Kaz Lux (Brainbox), Eugene Ruffolo en JW Roy deden dit al in een eerder stadium. Op locatie namen we in het landelijke clubcircuit Venice, Barrelhouse, Tom Principato, Rod Picott, B.J. Baartmans en Brian Webb op. Iedere donderdagavond van 20:00 tot 21:00 uur is A Shake Of Music live in de eter. Op vrijdag tussen 11:00 tot 12:00 en 15:00 tot 16:00 wordt het programma herhaald op 97.7 Mhz op de kabel en 106.2 FM"
