Het is weer zover, maar liefst 1 nacht lang mag ik weer op die vermaledijde publieke omroep mijn ei kwijt woensdagnacht 8/9 september tussen 4 en 6 a.m. ;dan kun je ze weer verwachten, die maffe radiocartoons, de nieuwste americana c.d.'s en de platen die je nergens meer hoort.

Niet erg bijzonder, wel bijzonder erg is het dagelijkse muziekaanbod dat op ons afkomt als een zwerm fruitvliegjes uit een rotte meloen. Maar daar is nu wat op gevonden: de lokale radio! Met platen uit de tijd dat zelfs zangers nog wat te zeggen hadden, gelardeerd met de nieuwste CD's, waarvan je nooit had gedacht dat je die nog eens zou mogen meemaken.
In een poging tot syndicated radio maak ik wekelijks 1 programma dat elke week te horen is op diverse lokale en commerciele radiozenders. Soms heet het "Het Westen in het midden"(Radio Lelystad) , soms "Muziek en toch luister je even"(Radio 227) , soms ook "Over de schutting" (VARA) ,maar altijd komt het uit het hart, gewoon omdat het zo hoort.
Met: Americana, soul, doowop, pop, rock, country, bluegrass, folk, blues, jazz, oldies, other great features....en Paul van Gelder... Radiojunk sinds 1965....
